Listened to the Stephen Silver "Artcasts" whilst weeding the allotment today. I've never been any good at caricature work, but there was a readers letter that hit the nail on the head... unless you make yourself try these things, you will never get better. I'm looking for an adult evening class to get my sketching up to speed.
Finding it hard to make myself draw something today, so did a bit of colouring in PS. I'm guessing there are many easier ways to do this.

run out of things to draw

I couldn't get motivated about drawing anything, and certainly didn't want to do this strip, but I forced myself to start inking up the pencil sketch.
... even though I don't like it all

visited the new Crawley library, which had a couple of Hellboy comics I hadn't see before..
and for lack of anything else to draw, I thought I'd try something in the deceptively simple Duncan Fegredo style...

so bright you gotta wear shades

Nice day, so I spent most of the evening over at the allotment tilling the soil. I did have time to spend an hour on a bit of coluring though...

Comedy rail fun this eveing means I didn't get home till 8.30 ish. Not much time for drawing, but I did manage to add a bit of colour to the panel from yesterday. It makes me realise how polished and professional webcomic artists are, to get something out of the door is not an insignificant task.
